Leaf House

One 3,500 square foot residence, currently being designed by Zucker Architecture, uses the roof to harvest rainfall similar to the way a dew drop falls off a leaf. The south of the house is arrayed to gather sunlight in the winter or provide shade in the summer. Breezes move through the house after passing over a water feature, which helps to cool the home in the hot months and reflect light into the house during the shorter days of the year.
